Two Principal level passes in the following subjects: Advanced Mathematics and Physics. Those without at least a Subsidiary pass in Chemistry at A-Level must have a minimum of “C”grade in Chemistry at O-level. Mathematics, Geography, History, Physics, Biology or Chemistry. In addition, an applicant must have at least a subsidiary level pass in Advanced Mathematics or Basic Applied Mathematics at A-level or a minimum of “D” grade in Basic Mathematics and a minimum of ‘ D ’ grade in English Language at O-Level or a pass in English/English Literature at A-level.
Nini maana ya "Principal Pass"?
Kwa mfumo wa TCU, "Principal Pass" inamaanisha kupata alama kuanzia 'A' mpaka 'E' kwenye somo husika la Kidato cha Sita (A-Level). Alama ya 'S' (Subsidiary) na 'F' hazihesabiki kama Principal Pass.
Points za TCU hutolewa hivi: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1. Ili kujiunga na masomo ya Shahada (Degree), mwanafunzi anapaswa kupata jumla ya points 4.0 au zaidi kutoka kwenye Principal Passes zake mbili kuu zinazohitajika.
