Two principal passes in the following subjects: Islamic Knowledge, History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, French, Arabic, Fine Arts, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Agriculture, Computer Science or Nutrition. If one of the principal passes is not in Islamic Knowledge, an applicant must have a subsidiary pass in Islamic Knowledge at A-Level or a minimum of “D” grade in Islamic Knowledge at O- Level.
Nini maana ya "Principal Pass"?
Kwa mfumo wa TCU, "Principal Pass" inamaanisha kupata alama kuanzia 'A' mpaka 'E' kwenye somo husika la Kidato cha Sita (A-Level). Alama ya 'S' (Subsidiary) na 'F' hazihesabiki kama Principal Pass.
Points za TCU hutolewa hivi: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1. Ili kujiunga na masomo ya Shahada (Degree), mwanafunzi anapaswa kupata jumla ya points 4.0 au zaidi kutoka kwenye Principal Passes zake mbili kuu zinazohitajika.
